Job description:
People Source is seeking for experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our construction team on a new school construction project located in Paradise, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and assembling sheet metal components, HVAC ductwork systems, and copper piping systems in accordance with project specifications, blueprints, and safety standards.
PAY: $25-$33hr PLUS 1 HOUR PAID DRIVE TIME
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
- Install HVAC ductwork, fittings, dampers, hangers, supports, and related components.
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents.
- Install copper refrigerant lines, water lines, and related piping systems according to project requirements.
- Braze, solder, and connect copper tubing while ensuring leak-free installations.
- Install pipe supports, hangers, and insulation as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of sheet metal experience in commercial construction.
- Experience installing HVAC duct systems and copper piping.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Experience with brazing and soldering copper tubing preferred.
- Ability to use sheet metal fabrication tools, hand tools, and power tools.

- OSHA 10
- Aerial Lift Certification
