COMMERCIAL DX PIPEFITTER – AUSTIN, TX

Structured Trades is hiring experienced Commercial DX Pipefitters for long-term commercial HVAC projects in the Austin, TX area.
If you can braze and install copper refrigerant piping on commercial HVAC systems, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Install and fit copper refrigerant piping for commercial DX HVAC systems
- Braze and solder copper refrigerant lines
- Measure, cut, prep, and assemble copper piping
- Install pipe supports and hangers
- Read and work from mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Pressure test refrigerant piping and troubleshoot leaks
- Safely operate torches and brazing equipment
- Coordinate with foremen and other trades to keep projects moving
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC/refrigerant piping experience
- Strong experience brazing copper refrigerant piping
- Experience with commercial DX systems
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings
- Experience with new commercial construction
- Ability to work independently and produce quality work
- Reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools
- OSHA 10 is preferred, but not required
